This bracelet is solid 14K yellow gold, except for the spring clasp which acid tests as 14K, but is magnetic. I believe that the shell of the spring clasp is solid 14K, but the inner bar (which closes and opens the clasp) is a non-precious metal, to give the clasp more security and strength.
