This elegant cameo is finely set in 14K yellow gold and features an incredible example of Italian craftsmanship. The skill of the artist is very evident in this stunning cameo. The rich, luxurious curls, scooping neckline and beautiful features of the figure create an impressive piece that is a fine work of art. This darling cameo can be worn as a brooch or a pendant and features both a secure necklace bail and brooch clasp. (The bail can actually be folded up to be used as a pendant or folded down so the cameo can be worn as a brooch.)

Overall condition of this cameo is very good. There is some denting of the gold shell on the exterior of the piece (please see photos.)
There is also, what appears to be, a hairline in the top corner of the cameo. Upon closer inspection, the crack does not got through to the surface of either the front or the back of the cameo. That said, it looks like the "crack" is an inclusion in the cameo shell itself.
