Art Deco Style Emerald, Marcasite & Seed Pearl Sterling Locket with Leaf Details

The detail in this piece is just unbelievable! The sterling silver setting and detailing is so finely done and the results are breathtaking. This luxurious locket features 70 sparkling marcasite stones, 12 luscious emeralds and 20 finely-set seed pearls. The glow and sparkle that this beautiful necklace creates is stunning! In addition, each gemstone is individually prong set for strength and durability.
This is quite a substantial locket in terms of construction and each element, while very detailed, is not thin but is very solid. (Total weight of the locket without a chain is 0.45 oz.) The locket also opens, closes and clicks shut very easily. The hinge on the side of the locket is in great condition and moves easily.
Created in a vintage style, this fine locket is a more modern piece created by a studio artist. The piece is marked "925" and has the studio artist's mark, but I was unable to attribute the mark to a specific artist.

Height of Locket's Interior: About 7/10 cm
Sterling Chain: 20" long

The marcasite and emerald stones were both tested using a Presidium Gemstone Tester. All stones and pearls are in good condition on this piece.
